About Us:
McKenzie Centre is a leading early intervention centre that supports children with disabilities (birth to school age) and their whānau in Hamilton. We provide family-centred, play-based, trans-disciplinary services that help children reach their full potential. Our team includes Speech-Language Therapists, Physio and Occupational Therapists, Early Intervention Teachers, Social Workers, Peer Support Workers, Psychologists, and Education Support Workers. We are an innovative, passionate team committed to empowering families and children to thrive.
About the Role:
We are seeking qualified Early Intervention Teachers, or registered Primary or Early Childhood Education Teachers working towards a Specialist Teacher qualification, who are preferably experienced in early intervention and family-centred practice. As a member of our trans-disciplinary team, you will provide holistic support in areas such as child development, family advocacy, and team assessments. You will be involved in both individual and group interventions, working in the centre and community settings. There will also be opportunities for workshop presentations.
