SERVICE FACILITATOR SUPPORTED LIVING - Hamilton or Waikato - Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Enrich+ as we work with individuals in the Hamilton and Waikato area. We are looking for a passionate individual that wants to join an organisation dedicated to working alongside individuals with disabilities to develop their skills and abilities, to enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice.  Ideally you will have some experience with supporting or working with people with disabilities.

As Service Facilitator this role provides you with the best of both worlds as you have the opportunity to work alongside the people we support as well as providing administration support to the Supported Living team.  You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing support plans for the people we support
  • Day to day coordination and administration support of the wider team, including scheduling and rostering
  • Regular review and quality checks of existing and new support packages
  • Working alongside individuals to assist them to achieve their goals and develop their skills and abilities to live independently in the home of their choice

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others, and excited about opportunities as the service grows and develops.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • some experience in working with people with disabilities and/or mental health
  • some knowledge or understanding of behaviour analysis and behaviour management
  • the ability to work autonomously and be a part of a team
  • the ability to be flexible with working hours and working approach
  • the ability to think on your feet and use initiative
  • an open-mind and be willing to learn
  • a calm nature with a sense of humor
  • a current drivers licence
  • be organised and have attention to detail
  • completed or be working towards Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Psychology or a related field would be an advantage but no essential

Although having work experience in the disability/mental health/social services sector and a relevant qualification is a key factor in your success in this role, having the right drive and attitude is more important.  If you have a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, then we want to hear from you!

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for several team members that want to join an organisation dedicated to working alongside individuals with disabilities to develop their skills and abilities, to enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice. Ideally you will have some experience with supporting or working with people with disabilities.

CASUAL SUPPORT WORKER - Hamilton

We currently have vacancies for vibrant and energetic Casual Support Workers to join our Vocational Services based in Hamilton.  

As a Casual Support Worker, you will be working alongside full time staff to support the people we serve to:

  • develop their skills and abilities
  • engage in meaningful activities of their personal choice
  • explore and enjoy new experiences

In this role you will work across various services, so flexibility is the key. You will need to be self-motivated, available for work at short notice, and adaptable to be able to hit the ground running – no one day is ever the same. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a sense of humor
  • a calm nature
  • the ability to work alongside a diverse range of people with varying support needs
  • the drive to make a difference
  • personal values in alignment with the purpose, vision, and values of Enrich+
  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • a full clean driver licence
  • current first aid certificate preferred

 Whilst previous work experience is advantageous, having the right drive and attitude is more important to your success in this role.  Hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.00pm Monday – Friday.

COMMUNITY FACILITATOR – SUPPORTED LIVING

A casual position currently exists within our Supported Living Service in Tokoroa working up to 5 hours per week to support a male client.   This is an opportunity for job share.

Our Supported Living team provide a service that helps individuals with disabilities to live their own life, in their own home and with the staff of their choice.

As a Community Facilitator you will empower people to:

  • achieve their goals by working alongside them
  • develop their skills and abilities to live independently in the home of their choice
  • enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • the ability to work alongside a diverse range of people
  • the ability to inspire people to achieve their goals in independent living
  • creativity and flexibility to meet the demands of the role
