CASUAL COMMUNITY FACILITATOR - Tauranga and Bay of Plenty - Contract

As Community Facilitator you will provide a service that helps individuals with disabilities to:
• achieve their goals by working alongside them
• develop their skills and abilities to live independently in the home of their choice
• enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice
• assisting and supporting employment opportunities as they arise
We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others, and excited about opportunities as the service grows and develops.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• some experience in working with people with disabilities
• some knowledge or understanding of behaviour analysis and behaviour management
• the ability to work autonomously and be a part of a team
• the ability to be flexible with working hours and working approach
• the ability to think on your feet and use initiative
• an open-mind and be willing to learn
• a calm nature with a sense of humor
• a current drivers licence
• completed or be working towards Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Psychology or a related field would be an advantage but no essential
Whilst previous work experience in the disability/mental health/social services sector and a relevant qualification is advantageous, having the right drive and attitude is more important to your success in this role. EMPLOYMENT FACILITATOR - HAMILTON - Full-time
Employment Facilitator wanted to work in a fun, energetic and successful team supporting a range of individuals into employment
Enrich+ prides itself on excellence, professionalism and on offering the people we support “a life like any other”. We work alongside individuals to develop their skills and abilities and to enhance their inclusion in the communities of their choice.
We are in need of a highly motivated Employment Facilitator – someone with an outgoing personality and the ability to adapt to any given situation, for example:
• liaising with the people we support to find out what their career aspirations and strengths are
• facilitation of job clubs
• working with individuals to identify their working goals and supporting individuals to achieve the goal
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday. The role is based in Hamilton however you will be working across the Waikato rural area.
Our Employment Facilitators focus on achieving a win-win outcome for both the employer and the people we support. They work hard to get the right person into the right job and then provide ongoing support as requested and as needed.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• A confident demeanor
• Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork
• Driven to achieve goals
• Professional presentation
• High level of computer literacy required
• A previous role in recruitment and/or experience working in a mental health environment would be an advantage but not critical.
