PSYCHOLOGIST – Part Time Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Enrich+ within the Specialist Support Team for a Psychologist to further develop and deliver services for people within the disability sector in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. This is a new role within a new team and will allow the successful applicant to flexibly deliver a range of evidence-based interventions to our growing client base.

As a Psychologist you will be responsible for:

  • Working with individuals to provide quality, holistic, individualised programmes of intervention and outcomes as identified through thorough assessment
  • Clinical supervision of staff, including intern psychologists working through accredited training programmes
  • Assisting with providing specialist support and training to Enrich+ staff
  • Maintaining a high standard of expertise, both practical and theoretical in your own discipline

 We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

  • Registered Psychologist with a current APC (under general or clinical scope)
  • Proven work experience as a psychologist ideally with those with dual diagnoses (disability and mental health)
  • Able to deliver ACT, CBT and similar evidence-based therapies, modified as needed to suit the population of clients
  • Knowledge and understanding of how young people and adults with autism see the world
  • Willingness to interact and support a broad range of people with different needs
  • Previous experience working in sensitive claims or as an ACC provider
  • Experience in clinical supervision and/or appropriate supervision training
  • Membership with either NZPsS or NZCCP would be an advantage
  • A clean full driver’s license, as work across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty will be essential
  • Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work within a team as well as autonomously

SUPPORT WORKER - Permanent Position

We currently have vacancies for vibrant and energetic Support Workers to join our Vocational Services based in Hamilton.

As a Support Worker, you will be working alongside full time staff to support the people we serve to:

  • develop their skills and abilities
  • engage in meaningful activities of their personal choice
  • explore and enjoy new experiences

In this role you will work across various services, so flexibility is the key. You will need to be self-motivated, available for work at short notice, and adaptable to be able to hit the ground running – no one day is ever the same. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a calm nature
  • the ability to work alongside a diverse range of people with varying support needs
  • the drive to make a difference
  • personal values in alignment with the purpose, vision, and values of Enrich+

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 3.30pm.

We are looking for several team members that want to join an organisation dedicated to working alongside individuals with disabilities to develop their skills and abilities, to enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice. Ideally you will have some experience with supporting or working with people with disabilities.

As Community Facilitator you will provide a service that helps individuals with disabilities to:

• achieve their goals by working alongside them

• develop their skills and abilities to live independently in the home of their choice

• enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice

• assisting and supporting employment opportunities as they arise

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others, and excited about opportunities as the service grows and develops.

COMMUNITY FACILITATOR – SUPPORTED LIVING

A casual position currently exists within our Supported Living Service in Tokoroa working up to 5 hours per week to support a male client.   This is an opportunity for job share.

Our Supported Living team provide a service that helps individuals with disabilities to live their own life, in their own home and with the staff of their choice.

As a Community Facilitator you will empower people to:

  • achieve their goals by working alongside them
  • develop their skills and abilities to live independently in the home of their choice
  • enhance inclusion in the communities of their choice

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
