My day to day role at Crombie Lockwood provides a great foundation on which to provide good governance given I am in the risk business

I bring to the board a range of commercial experience, across a diverse set of industries as well as practical governance skills.

Maree Haddon

I’m a Finance Business Partner at Genesis, having moved from a Tax specialist at PwC into the commercial corporate world. In September 2016 I joined the Board of Trustees for Enrich+ and Enrich+ Spectrum Energy as an observer through the IoD Emerging Director Award. In January 2018 I joined both Boards as a full Board member. I am currently serving as deputy chair for the McKenzie Charitable Trust Board. I’m passionate about strong governance and leadership in the disability sector, having experience as a parent of two young boys both of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I am a Partner at Tompkins Wake Lawyers, and have over 15 years experience practicing law. I joined the Board of Trustees in June 2016. As someone who has experienced the challenges faced by a family member with disabilities, I was excited by the prospect of bringing that experience and my legal background to Enrich+. It is an organisation I hold in very high regard and I have been inspired by the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff of Enrich+.

Shelley Campbell

I am the CEO of the Waikato Bay of Plenty Cancer Society providing cancer prevention and community support services to over 700,00 people in the region. I am a member of the Health Review Panel and Board member of Te Pou and Le Va. Growing up in Te Awamutu I have watched Enrich+ grow and develop over many years so it was a privilege to join the Enrich + Board in 2018.

Karen Scott

CEO

Karen started working in the disability sector when she was 17, and has always believed that every individual no matter what their circumstances, has the right to a “life like any other”. This is one of the reason why taking up the job at Enrich+ in early 2017 fits so perfectly with her. She believes that her values match with the vision and values of Enrich+, which makes it an organisation that she is proud to work for. Karen is a strong advocate for working in collaboration with others to maximise outcomes and increase capability. She has experience in the area of disability and harm minimisation for safer communities both in New Zealand and abroad. She has worked in both Central and Local government and the not for profit sector and has a passion for bringing individuals and organisations together to pool resources and skills for improved outcomes.
